Malaysia is one of Asia's biggest employers of foreign labour. But recently, cases of deaths, abuse and forced labour have come to light. What is going on? Who is protecting these migrant workers?
"Her remains will be flown to Surakarta on a Garuda Indonesia flight,"
Migrant Care director Anis Hidayah was quoted as saying Saturday by Detik.com.

She said that Kunarsih’s family would pick her remains up at Surakarta’s Adi
Sumarmo Airport and would bury her in her hometown of Demak, Central Java.

Kunarsih was found dead in her room Tuesday after suffering from injuries to
her chest and abdomen caused by a blunt object.

Kunarsih is among 21 Indonesian migrant workers who died this year at the hands
of their employers in Malaysia. Currently, more than 300,000 Indonesians work
there. — JP/05
