UN refugee agency staff have been put on alert in Malaysia to protect refugee
and asylum seekers in case they are affected by an impending government crackdown
on illegal immigrants, the agency said on Tuesday.

Ninety Indonesian illegal workers who had recently complained that they were
owed wages, have now accused the main contractor of Medan Prestasi in Damansara
Damai, Selangor, of threatening to demolish their makeshift homes at the site.
