KUANTAN, Sept 8 (Bernama) — Three foreign workers were feared trapped in a landslide at a quarry in Bukit Sagu 4, near Panching here Monday evening.
Kuantan police chief ACP Abdul Aziz Salleh said police received a report on the incident at about 5pm.
“Upon receiving the report, police and a Fire and Rescue team rushed to the scene to search for the workers, believed to be from Myanmar and Indonesia,” he said.
He said police were now identifying the victims’ involved and were investigating the cause of the incident.
“We are looking into how the incident occurred and identity of victims. We will update after further investigations,” he said. — BERNAMA
