Asean has failed to reach a
consensus on whether a proposed agreement calling for stronger protection and
improved conditions for migrant workers should also cover family members living
with them in the employing country.

Satu memorandum akan diserahkan kepada Perdana Menteri sebagai
membantah keputusan kerajaan dan Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri
(MITI) untuk meneruskan rundingan Perjanjian Perdagangan Bebas (FTA) dengan Amerika
Syarikat.
Memorandum tersebut akan diserahkan oleh Gabungan Rakyat Membantah
FTA di pejabat Perdana Menteri di Putrajaya pagi esok.
