The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has denied that the names of beneficiaries
listed by its account holders have gone missing.
“This issue is obsolete,” said EPF senior manager of public relations

The government is unable to meet the demand by the Malaysian Trades Union Congress
(MTUC) for a minimum wage of RM900 and RM300 cost of living allowance (Cola) for
the private sector, the Dewan Negara was told today.
According to Bernama, Deputy Human Resources Minister Abdul Rahman Bakar said
such a move would only cause many companies in the country to close shop.
